Webinar Description

Vietnam falls in the top 10 most affected areas by climate change in the past 20 years and its impact is bound to be non-negligible, especially for the most vulnerable and marginalised groups. The increase of inequality of income and opportunities due to adverse climatic conditions has been identified as potentially exacerbating grievance and insecurities, and its understanding and successfully targeted policies can possibly contribute to wider peace-building activities.

In this webinar, we will be joined by guest speakers from around the world, who will help shed light on some of the latest policies and initiatives working to ensure that all people in Vietnam have equal opportunities and resilience to climate variability and therefore reduce chances for increased grievance and conflicts.

What can we do to ensure climate security for all in Vietnam?
